Regional Restoration Plans
Evergreen was formed in 2006 by partners each with more than 20
years of experience working for the top environmental
engineering firms in the region. The following projects were
conducted by principals of Evergreen prior to joining Evergreen.
US Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, Project
Management Plan, Ecosystem Restoration Study, Hackensack
Meadowlands, New Jersey. Responsible for preparing the
Hackensack Meadowlands Project Management Plan and Meadowlands
Comprehensive Restoration Implementation Plan (MCRIP).
Coordinated with the NJMC as the non-federal sponsor to
determine study scope, schedule, costs, responsibility
assignments and site-specific issues. Developed feasibility
study approach for the Meadowlands-Wide Restoration Plan and
specific restoration sites.
Hackensack Meadowlands Wetland Enhancement Activities, New
Jersey. Led wetland enhancement activities under contract
to the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission. Services provided
included biological surveys, ecological restoration designs,
biological, chemical and geological baselines studies, and
technical reports to characterize existing conditions and
potential contamination of estuarine marshes in the Meadowlands
region including portions of the lower Passaic River basin.
Includes plans to design, restore and monitor the Oritani Marsh,
Mill Creek and Harrier Meadows.
