Evergreen was formed in 2006 by partners each with more than 20 years of experience working for the top environmental engineering firms in the region. The following projects were conducted by principals of Evergreen prior to joining Evergreen.

US Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, Project Management Plan, Ecosystem Restoration Study, Hackensack Meadowlands, New Jersey. Responsible for preparing the Hackensack Meadowlands Project Management Plan and Meadowlands Comprehensive Restoration Implementation Plan (MCRIP). Coordinated with the NJMC as the non-federal sponsor to determine study scope, schedule, costs, responsibility assignments and site-specific issues. Developed feasibility study approach for the Meadowlands-Wide Restoration Plan and specific restoration sites.

Hackensack Meadowlands Wetland Enhancement Activities, New Jersey.  Led wetland enhancement activities under contract to the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission. Services provided included biological surveys, ecological restoration designs, biological, chemical and geological baselines studies, and technical reports to characterize existing conditions and potential contamination of estuarine marshes in the Meadowlands region including portions of the lower Passaic River basin. Includes plans to design, restore and monitor the Oritani Marsh, Mill Creek and Harrier Meadows.
